jojoflores founder / resident dj/ producer / bookings

The concept that one guy can rock a full house strictly by playing records on a turntable could blow your mind. Yet jojoflores does exactly that. Regular out of town gigs does not stop him from being a resident DJ in several clubs in his hometown of Montreal. jojoflores began his career as a diskc jockey at the age of 15 and has become one of Montreal's hottest garage deep house export -holding down honorary residencies in Toronto, Ottawa, San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York City. His entrepreneurial spirit led to the formation of Basshedz in 1996 which produced ¨Swank¨- a four year old weekly event awarded one of the¨Top 5 Montreal Club Nights¨ by MixMag in 1998. In 1999, Basshedz and Inobe productions joined forces to create Therapy, a night of sweet sophistication, bringing soulful garage grooves and afro-latin rhythms from international as well as local disc jockeys. The challenge of never knowing what to expect from a crowd is what drives jojoflores to constantly provide a solid groove. His signature sound is synonymous with soulful tracks, flawless mixing and a steady, uplifting vibe. For more info check out

misayo resident dj / hostess / playlists

a.k.a. Misayo Hara - student by day, technically flawless garage DJ by night. This fashionable, yet modest ingénue, with residencies at Club 737, Therapy, and Sophia, so impressed DJ David Harness of San Franciso fame, that he was ready to book her on the spot! What can we say about this girl except that she's absolutely wonderful! Never a "Bedroom DJ", Misayo didn't have to: day one, she picked up her records and went straight to the club. Her musical selection… Impeccable. Her timing and skills behind the decks… Meticulous and on the mark. For more info check out

B'UGO resident dj / webmaster / photographer

b’Ugo né Ugo N’gan’ga Gitau is a boy of diverse cultures.
Born in Hull, Canada in 1979, he grew up travelling the world with his mother. At 12 years old…yes 12!… B’Ugo was already on the West african dance floors shaking up a storm.
He started spinning records as recently as the year 2000. He is but a newcomer yet is already turning heads with a developing signature naughty sound. This boy mixes it all up- from deep house to minimal techno, disco to funk - while always keeping a remarkable focus that brings it all together into one fused sound : you will never be bored on his dance floor. Before deciding that it was time to dj, B’Ugo truly was a child of the night. Living in clubs and after-hours, it was in those 5 years spent in the dark that he forged what were going to be the worlds he depicts and illustrates though music. For more info on b'Ugo check out

Rudy pr / cutiepie / host / door / street team coordinator

Growing up in Watts (Los Angeles) where Hip Hop reigns supreme it is somewhat of a surprise that Rudy Carmona discovered soulful house music. In 1992 he witnessed Los Angeles' underground house culture first hand, and has since given him a unique insight at producing underground events. Rudy helped Promote for CPU 101, Rhythm Junkies, Dub Soldiers, No-I-TO-Love, Respect, House vibes, and the legendary Does Your Mama Know. All the while learning what ingredients one must have to produce an underground event. In 2002 with all these experiences under his belt he founded For Those Who with partners Robert Jouse and Conrad. Their first event, For Those Who Know... on Oct. 5th 2002 featured djs jojoflores, Patrick Wilson, Lamech, Robert Jouse, and Slick Dada. With future productions already in preparation, For Those Who Know... promises to bring quality underground House music and Therapy to Los Angeles and beyond.
